Compac is pleased to announce the recent receipt of a large repeat order from Indian customer Indraprastha Gas Limited, for a further 144 car dispensers and 82 bus dispensers. This follows the initial order from IGL, won by Compac through the tender process in May 2009. (See news article on this here)
This second order will be delivered to India in lots over a 6 month period, from April through to September this year. These dispensers will then be installed in some of the many new CNG stations currently being built in New Delhi, as well as several other areas surrounding the city. In recent years, Compac has continued to focus on the New Delhi region in order to establish a premium brand and specifications, using their advanced CNG technologies to meet stringent market requirements. This order is yet another example of India’s increasing focus on using CNG as a clean and economic alternative fuel – vital for the future of India, and the care of its environment. India has one of the largest fleet of natural gas vehicles in the world, and holds the highest NGV growth potential in the world.
Roger Kleyer, General Manager for Compac, commented, "We are very pleased to have this opportunity to continue our long association with IGL and would like to acknowledge the excellent work of our agent, Reliable Engineering, in securing this ongoing business. We look forward to delivering more quality product on time and believe a repeat order of this size is only possible when the product performance and after sales service is of the highest standard. Every person at Compac will continue to work hard to ensure we deliver the highest standards of product quality and service possible."
